Full First Aid at Work

Be prepared, be confident, and make a difference when it matters most.

Our Blended Learning Full First Aid at Work Course gives first-time first aiders the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively to a wide range of emergencies in the workplace.

What you will learn:

  • The role and responsibilities of a first aider.

  • Managing an incident using the Primary and Secondary Survey.

  • Monitoring and recording vital signs.

  • Dealing with an unconscious breathing casualty.

  • Performing CPR and the safe use of a defibrillator (AED).

  • Managing major and minor bleeding, including amputations, crushed limbs, chest injuries, internal bleeding, abdominal injuries, embedded objects, nosebleeds, and eye injuries.

  • Treating fractures, sprains, strains, and dislocations, including spinal injuries.

  • Administering first aid for burns and scalds.

  • Recognising and treating shock.

  • Providing first aid for seizures, heart attack, stroke, diabetic emergencies, and fainting.

  • Recognising and managing asthma attacks and allergic reactions (anaphylaxis).

  • Dealing with choking incidents.

  • Understanding first aid kits, hygiene procedures, and infection control.

  • Understanding RIDDOR, COSHH, and accident reporting requirements.

Duration:

  • 6 hours face-to-face practical workshop 

  • Flexible online theory complete  through the BODYCORE App.

  • Certificate valid for 3 years.

Cost:

  • Individual £250 â€‹

  • ​Group Booking £220 per person (minimum of 6 to 11)

  • Group Booking £190 per person (minimum 12 to 15)​​
