Emergency First Aid at Work

Our Blended Learning Emergency First Aid at Work course is designed for low-risk workplaces, giving you the essential life-saving skills and confidence to handle medical emergencies effectively.

What you will learn:

  • The Role of a first aider.

  • Managing an incident using the Primary & Secondary Survey.

  • Monitoring vital signs.

  • Dealing with an unconscious breathing casualty.

  • Performing CPR & safe use of a defibrillator. 

  • Dealing with major & minor bleeding.

  • First aid kits & hygiene procedures.

  • Dealing with choking.

  • Treating a burn.

  • Recognition & treatment for seizures, heart attack, stroke, diabetic emergency & fainting.

  • RIDDOR, COSHH & Accident reporting.

Duration:

  • 2 hours face-to-face practical workshop 

  • Flexible online theory complete  through the BODYCORE App.

  • Certificate valid for 3 years.
